Why we do, what we do…

When I got married, my Mother was my wedding planner and the day was a complete mess! The venue didn’t have the tables and chairs setup, so my 90lb Mom was dragging them from the basement! I was worried about her, (the days long before cell phones!) and left my hair appointment to check on her. My bridal party swooped into action and got it all set up and we ran back to the salon. No one else got their hair done but me, costing us time and money. Then my Mom was at the reception venue and power kept going out, so she was late to the ceremony and never even got her hair and makeup done! I was told by the grooms family that “the guests were there and to go get married without her”. My Dad looked at me and said, “The cancer may kill me, but your Mother won’t. I am not walking you down the aisle until she gets here.” She was miserable all night, exhausted and not feeling her best self. Therefore, I don’t want anyone else to go through that, so we want to take the burden off you and your friends and family!
